St. Tammany Parish Warrant Records St. Tammany Parish Warrant Records

This page sets out what we can and cannot help with, and where questions about official St. Tammany Parish warrants belong. Start with the issuing office. Most requests go to the Clerk of Court, the sheriff's criminal records section, or the court that issued the paper, not to us. A district court case belongs with the parish clerk, an agency warrant file with the sheriff's records desk, and a city ticket with the city or mayor's court that set it. The routing below sends each kind of question to the office that can actually answer it.

This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear a warrant, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, you need the sheriff's criminal records section or the court that issued the paper.

Need Official Warrant Information?

Here is where the questions most people ask about in St. Tammany Parish belong:

  • Whether an agency warrant exists: the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office criminal records section holds warrant files for the 22nd Judicial District Court
  • Case history, minute entries, or viewable filings: the Clerk of Court's Criminal Department, on the basement level of the Justice Center
  • A bench warrant for a missed date: the court that set the case, which may be a city court, a mayor's court, or a justice court, is the office that issued and holds it
  • Resolving or clearing a warrant: a licensed Louisiana attorney and the issuing court can explain a recall motion, a scheduled appearance, a surrender, or bond
  • Bond logistics: the 22nd Judicial District Court Bond Court desk handles questions about current holds, identification, and bail type
