Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or date of birth typed into a search box here goes directly to the outside provider running that search, and the provider processes it and returns the results. We do not log or store the terms you enter.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you email us, we keep the message so we can write back. It stays with our team, and we do not pass it to anyone outside the organization unless a legal obligation requires it.
Data We Gather Automatically
Each time a page loads, our servers record a few technical details about the visit:
- Your device's IP address
- The pages you opened and how long each one stayed on screen
- The browser and version you are using
- Your operating system and device type
- The referring site, when there is one
- A timestamp for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on your device, and we use them to see how visitors move through the site, including which pages draw the most traffic and where readers leave. Analytics services help us combine that traffic data into reports. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may behave differently if you do.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site online and loading quickly
- Passing your search request to the right partner service
- Learning which pages are useful and which need work
- Finding and fixing technical problems
- Serving ads that may relate to your interests
No Warrant Data on File
We do not host, build, compile, or sell databases of warrants or personal warrant records. This site carries general guidance about where St. Tammany Parish warrant records are held and how to check them through the Clerk of Court, the sheriff's criminal records section, and the city and mayor's courts.
We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Nothing we collect about visitors is turned into a consumer report or a file about any third party.
Third-Party Search Partners
The search boxes on this site belong to outside companies. Anything typed into one of those tools is processed under that partner's own privacy policy rather than this one. Those partners decide how long they keep data and who else sees it, and we have no control over those choices. Read the partner's policy before you submit a search.
Links to Other Websites
We link to the Clerk of Court, the sheriff's office, Louisiana statutes, court payment portals, and outside search tools. Following one of those links takes you off this site, and from that point the other site's privacy policy applies. Read it before sharing personal details.
Some advertising partners may track activity across sites to target ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not ours.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Certain information may reach:
- Search partners that handle queries you run here
- Analytics services that measure traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
We use standard security practices to protect the data we hold, but no internet service is completely safe. We work to keep your information secure and cannot promise that a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
This site is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and if you believe a minor has sent us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Louisiana does not have a single consumer privacy statute covering every private website. Public records held by government bodies are governed instead by the Louisiana Public Records Law, La. R.S. 44:1 and following, and R.S. 44:32 sets how those records are inspected and copied. As a matter of our own policy, you may also:
- Ask for a copy of what we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong
- Ask us to erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of processing
Updates to This Policy
We may revise this policy later. When that happens, the new version appears on this page with a fresh effective date, so check back if you want to track how your information is handled.
Effective date: September 15, 2026
